I have been asked this… I don´t know when, so here is the answer. It means “vacuum”, or “empty space” or “nothingness”. So, it reflects the quantity of blogs I write which is almost none. Or it could refer to the worth of the information that I put in the blogs… either way, its the same.
Ok, so I never blog… Here is one… I play chess with my kids. They play each other, I mean like every night. We have several games at our house to the point of being suspect of an addiction. I have noticed a few things. One, Shan is such a great player. Not just because she is learning and knows chess, but she is great to play with. I mean apart from chess, she is kind, compassionate, fair, selfless, is a good winner and loser. I just really enjoy being with her. She and I are really cultivating intimacy through the playing of this game, a very unlikely place to develop intimacy. The others all play in our evening ritual. Mark is to the point where it is really hard to beat him. He reads. I mean chess strategy books. I have given up being way better than him for now. This Saturday, we are in a tournament that is hosted by a local attorney. We will be up against guys from all over upstate NY. News of our placing to follow.
This is my new teacher website. I am convinced there is nothing uglier on the web than a teacher web-site (with the exception of the immoral filth…) So, I am trying to make it attractive and I need practice. Comments welcome. Relavant links are needed.
